EDITOR’S NOTE: Last October, I wrote about the agony of watching Joe taken into custody. It’s difficult to believe that 12 months have gone by; it seems like much longer. Anyway, it didn’t seem right to let this unhappy anniversary go by in silence. While this is nothing to celebrate, it should at least be observed.
I still miss you, Joe. Each day I pray for your safety, and for your emotional and spiritual well-being. A phone call from you makes my day. You will always be my baby boy! If the Lord blesses me to still be here when you are released, I’ll be waiting for you.

Editor: I am so very, very sorry. I'm coming up on an "anniversary" of sorts for my brother, and I'm not happy about it... I never knew until now how hard it was to have a loved one in prison. May God be with you, your whole family, and with Joe.
